Toasted Strawberries on Sourdough
Toasted strawberries on sourdough, drizzled with honey and garnished with thyme, spooned over a creamy whipped ricotta base. It’s the perfect Sunday brunch treat.

Ingredients:
- 2 punnet Ashbern Organic Farm strawberries, ends removed
- 1 tbsp honey
- Fresh thyme
- 2 slices Bread Social Sourdough
- Mungalli Organic Ricotta
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180C
- Rinse strawberries and add to a medium sized baking dish.
- Drizzle with honey and sprinkle thyme on top. Place into the oven and bake for 20 minutes, stirring half way through baking time. Set aside to cool.
- Place bread in the oven until toasted.
- Place ricotta in food processor and pulse for 30 seconds to a minute until light and airy.
- Spread whipped ricotta on the bread slices.
- Spoon roasted strawberries evenly over ricotta.
- Garnish with thyme and extra honey for sweetness.
