Maple Roasted Parsnip Fries
A sweet twist on roast vegies
Ingredients
- 4 organic parsnips, washed (you could also use sweet potato, carrot or potato)
- 2 TBS Flannerys Organic Maple Syrup
- 2 TBS Flannerys EV Olive Oil
- Himalayan Salt for seasoning
Method
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees
- Cut parsnip length ways into fries
- In a large bowl toss the parsnip with the oil, maple syrup and salt, making sure the fries are evenly coated
- Spread evenly over a lined baking tray and pop in the oven
- Bake for about 20 – 30 minutes, tossing a couple of times to ensure all sides are cooked golden brown
- They should be crisp on the outside and tender in the middle
