Baked Nutty Granola

Packed to the brim with Flannerys OWN deluxe mixed nuts you’ll be sure to love this super simple baked nutty granola. This recipe is the perfect way to avoid unnecessary sugars in your breakfast, and has the protein, carbs and healthy fats to keep you going until lunch time.

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups OWN mixed nuts 750g
  • ½ cup OWN almond meal
  • ½ cup OWN organic rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp OWN organic coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp simply organic cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp pure harvest rice malt syrup
  • 1 tbsp absolute organic maple syrup * not necessary this just adds extra sweetness
  • ½ cup OWN desiccated coconut

 

Method:
  1. Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees & line a large baking tray
  2. Crush nuts slightly
  3. Combine nuts, meal, oats, cinnamon & coconut oil in a bowl and mix together with hands – this ensure coating of everything and allows for small clumps to form which turn out like clusters!
    TIP – don’t melt the coconut oil, again, this will help form clusters
  4. Spread mixture out evenly onto baking tray and drizzle with rice malt syrup & maple (if wanted)
  5. Place in oven and cook for 10 mins
  6. Remove and stir and add in desiccated coconut – return to oven and cook until golden brown, stirring every 5-7 mins
  7. Enjoy!
