Crunchy Green Dulse Salad

 

This crunchy green dulse salad is the ideal dinner party side salad or base for your favourite protein. Ready in just 20 minutes, each bite will have you feeling nourished from the inside out. The Pacific Harvest Dulse Flakes are the perfect addition to this salad that not only adds flavour but provides nutritional benefits from supporting your thyroid, blood health and digestion, to your nervous system and
eye health.

Dressing Ingredients:
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 3 tbsp Carwari Tahini
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Flannerys OWN Honey
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp water
Salad Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup white cabbage, shaved
  • 2 cups cos lettuce, diced
  • 1//4 cup mint leaves
  • 1 avocado, large cubes
  • 1/2 cup radishes, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Pacific Harvest Dulse Flakes

 

Method:
  1. Whisk the dressing ingredients together until smooth.
  2. Prepare your salad ingredients by chopping and slicing.
  3. Place the salad ingredients and 1 tbsp. of the dulse flakes into a large serving bowl and mix well.
  4. Pour half of the dressing over the salad.
  5. Finish with sea salt and remaining dulse flakes.
  6. The remaining dressing can be served separately and added to taste.
