Spiced Maple Walnuts

The perfect sweet snack! Super simple and easy this spiced maple walnuts recipe only uses a handful of ingredients which you most likely already have in the cupboard! These are great for adding to a cheese platter or simply keeping in the fridge for a quick pick-me-up treat!

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups OWN walnuts
  • ¼ cup Absolute Organic Maple Syrup
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp salt

 

Method:
  1. Line a baking tray and pre-heat oven to 200degrees
  2. Combine maple & spices in bowl
  3. Add walnuts to wet mixture and stir until coated evenly
  4. Spoon out mixture onto baking tray and place in heated oven
  5. Cook for about 15 minutes, removing and stirring every 3-4 minutes
  6. Let cool – nuts should become firm and not so sticky (like candy)
  7. Store in jar in fridge or on the bench
  8. Enjoy
