Super Green Pesto

Make a batch and keep in the fridge for a couple of weeks.  Great as a dip for raw veggie sticks, poured over pasta and in salads!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fresh Basil, chopped
  • 1 cup of mixed leafy greens (think spinach, kale etc)
  • 1/2 Flannerys Own Pine-nuts
  • 1TBS Flannerys Certified Organic Spirulina
  • 1 Garlic clove, minced
  • 4 TBS Flannerys Certified Organic EV Olive Oil or Macadamia Oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Add all the ingredients to a blender and process until smooth
  • Store in an airtight glass jar in the fridge until needed

For an even bolder flavour – roast garlic and toast pine-nuts before adding to the blender.
