Raw Bounty Bars
Love chocolate and coconut together – try these dreamy coconut bars, that are just like a bounty bar only healthier!
Ingredients
Filling
- 1 cup Flannerys Own Organic Desiccated Coconut
- 1/4 cup Flannerys OWN Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
- 1 TBS Flannerys Own Organic Maple Syrup
Chocolate coating
- 3 TBS Flannerys Own Organic Cacao Butter
- 1 TBS Flannerys Own Organic Maple Syrup
- 2 TBS Flannerys Own Organic Cacao Powder
Method
For the coconut filling
- Make coconut butter by placing the desiccated coconut in a food processor and blend until a butter forms – it’s that easy!
- Once you have the butter – add the rest of the filling ingredients and process until the mixture comes together.
- Pour the mixture into a lined baking dish and place in the freezer to set.
For the chocolate coating
- Melt the cacao butter until it has turned to a complete liquid.
- Then remove from heat and add cacao and maple syrup and mix well, making sure there are no lumps!
To make the bars
- Take the filling out of the freezer and tip upside down to remove from dish.
- Cut into bit sized pieces.
- Dip pieces into chocolate coating and pop them back into the fridge to set the chocolate.
