Watermelon & Basil Mocktail

This watermelon and basil mocktail is the perfect summertime drink for entertaining and it’s naturally rich in electrolytes, antioxidants and vitamin C, thanks to the watermelon, lime and fresh herbs.

If you prefer something less sweet, you can swap the lemonade for soda water or swap for coconut water for a no-fizz hydrating drink!

Serves: 1  |  Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 30ml Pyewacket’s watermelon and basil shrub
  • ¼ cup watermelon juice
  • ¼ cup lemonade (or rest of the glass)
    ¼ lime, wedge
  • Ice
  • Mint and basil, optional

Method:

  1. Fill a glass with ice. Add watermelon and basil syrup, lime wedge, basil and mint.
  2. Pour watermelon juice into the glass then fill the rest with lemonade. You can use soda water for a less sweet version too.
  3. Decorate with mint and a slice of lime and enjoy!
