Teff Cacao Porridge
A new take on a much loved favourite … delicious porridge!
Teff is such a nutrition power house, so we’re giving it a whirl in replace of oats.
Gluten & dairy free, this cacao blend will keep you satisfied all morning.
- 3/4 cup raw Teff Grain
- 3/4 cup organic coconut milk – or milk of choice
- 2 TBS Flannerys Organic Cacao Powder
- 1 Tsp Vanilla
- Flannerys Organic Maple Syrup & fresh fruit to serve
- Bring Teff grains to the boil ( with 3 cups of filtered water).
Reduce heat, simmer & stir until a thick porridge forms.
- Remove from heat – add coconut milk, cacao powder & vanilla. Combine well.
- Serve warm with fresh fruit, shaved coconut, cacao nibs & a generous drizzle of maple syrup.
