Sweet & Spicy Nut MIx

Take the perfect snack this Christmas for your guests, or create a delicious gift!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Flannerys Pecans
  • 1 1/2 cups Flannerys Nuts Mixed (choose your favourite – cashews, almonds, macadamias, walnuts)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 1/2 tsp Flannerys Course Celtic or Fine Himalayan Salt
  • 3 TBS Flannerys Organic Coconut Sugar
  • 1 TBS fresh Orange zest
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 2 TBS melted Flannerys Coconut Oil or organic butter

Method:

  • Preheat oven to 190 degrees
  • In a large bowl, add all the nuts and dry ingredients together until well combined
  • Then add the orange zest and oil/butter and make sure everything is well covered.
  • Spread evenly on a lined baking tray and pop in the oven for about 10 – 15 minutes or until golden. Keep an eye on them and give them a shake half way through cooking to bake evenly.
  • Store in an airtight container once cooled.
