Super Green Pesto
Make a batch and keep in the fridge for a couple of weeks. Great as a dip for raw veggie sticks, poured over pasta and in salads!
- 1 cup Fresh Basil, chopped
- 1 cup of mixed leafy greens (think spinach, kale etc)
- 1/2 Flannerys Own Pine-nuts
- 1TBS Flannerys Certified Organic Spirulina
- 1 Garlic clove, minced
- 4 TBS Flannerys Certified Organic EV Olive Oil or Macadamia Oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and process until smooth
- Store in an airtight glass jar in the fridge until needed
For an even bolder flavour – roast garlic and toast pine-nuts before adding to the blender.
