Spiced Maple Walnuts

The perfect sweet snack! Super simple and easy this spiced maple walnuts recipe only uses a handful of ingredients which you most likely already have in the cupboard! These are great for adding to a cheese platter or simply keeping in the fridge for a quick pick-me-up treat!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups OWN walnuts
- ¼ cup Absolute Organic Maple Syrup
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp salt
Method:
- Line a baking tray and pre-heat oven to 200degrees
- Combine maple & spices in bowl
- Add walnuts to wet mixture and stir until coated evenly
- Spoon out mixture onto baking tray and place in heated oven
- Cook for about 15 minutes, removing and stirring every 3-4 minutes
- Let cool – nuts should become firm and not so sticky (like candy)
- Store in jar in fridge or on the bench
- Enjoy
