Salted Cacao Protein Smoothie

This smoothie is a really nice balance of something sweet and satisfying, while still being supportive nutritionally. The protein helps with satiety and muscle repair, the banana and dates add natural sweetness along with fibre for balanced energy, the cacao gives you that rich chocolate flavour, plus a hit of antioxidants, and the almond butter and yoghurt add a bit of healthy fat and creaminess to make it more filling. Perfect for breakfast or post-workout!

Ingredients:

1 scoop Inca Cacao protein
1 tsp cacao powder
1 frozen banana
1 tbsp greek yoghurt1 cup almond milk
1 tsp almond butter
1-2 dates
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of sea salt
Ice
Cacao nibs, optional

Method:

  1. Put all ingredients (except cacao nibs) into a high speed blender and blend well until smooth and creamy.
  2. Pour into your favourite glass, top with cacao nibs and drink straight away!
