Matcha Strawberry Iced Latte

Indulge in the refreshing fusion of this Strawberry Matcha drink, crafted with fresh strawberries & the sweetener of your choice. This delightful beverage blends the earthy richness of matcha with the sweet, vibrant flavour of ripe strawberries, creating a perfect balance of taste & nutrition.

Matcha Strawberry Iced Latte

Ingredients:
    • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
    • 2 tbsp sweetener of choice (honey, agave)
    • 2 tsp Nya Rituals Matcha powder
    • 4 tbsp hot water
    • 1 cup plant based milk of choice
    • Ice to serve
Method:
  1. Place the strawberries into the freezer for 4-6 hours prior.
  2. Bring the strawberries out for 15 minutes to soften.
  3. Place matcha in a bowl and add the hot water. Whisk using the matcha bamboo whisk until smooth. Leave too cool.
  4. Place the strawberries into a bowl and crush them with a fork or potato masher until a puree consistency forms. Add the sweetener and mix.
  5. To serve, divide the strawberry mixture between two tall glasses. Top with a generous handful of ice cubes followed by milk and the matcha (in this order to see maximum swirl beauty). Mix using a straw and enjoy.
