
Hot Honey Asparagus Pizza
Try this delicious combination of asparagus, basil, cheese & honey for a fresh take on pizza. It’s the perfect choice for a light, satisfying meal with a unique flavour twist!

Ingredients:
- 1x Gluten Freedom pizza base
- 1x bunch asparagus
- 2x tbsp Naked Byron Foods vegan basil pesto
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar
- 1/4 cup parmesan
- 1x tbsp Black Dog Honey
- 1x tbsp Ugly Food Chilli Garlic and Lime
- 1/2 cup Rocket
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 1 tbsp Pine Nuts
- Light spray of any cooking oil – we love Coco Life Avocado Spray Oil
- Salt + Pepper (to taste)
Method:
- Pre heat oven to 200 degrees.
- Spread pesto onto pizza base & top with half the shredded mozzarella & half the rocket.
- Place asparagus & spray with oil.
- Add pine nuts & remaining mozzarella & parmesan. Add salt & pepper here if desired.
- Place in oven for 10 mins or when base is starting to get crispy.
- Whilst this is cooking combine honey, Ugly Food Chilli and a squeeze of lemon & salt & pepper, set aside.
- Switch oven to grill for 5 minutes to get a crispy top.
- Remove from oven & top with chilli mixture, more lemon, more rocket, salt & pepper.
