Chocolate Chip Paleo Cookies

You can’t get much better then a warm, ooey-gooey, chocolate chip cookie! This version is sure to be a favourite.

Ingredients

2 cups Flannerys Own Almond Meal

1/4 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 cup Flannerys Own Coconut Oil, softened

3 tbsp Flannerys Own Maple Syrup

2 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Method

  • 1. Preheat oven to 180°C. 

  • 2. In a medium bowl, stir together the almond meal, sea salt, and baking soda, then add the coconut oil, maple syrup and vanilla extract, mix well. 

  • 3. Fold in the chocolate chips, then spoon rounded tablespoons of mixture onto a lined baking tray. 

  • 4. Press down gently with a fork to flatten. Bake at 180°C for 8–9 minutes, until golden brown. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before diving in!
