Chimichurri is an Argentinian flavoursome sauce to marinade and coat over grilled steak, chicken, fish and vegetables. Parsley is the main ingredient and provides an abundance of antioxidants and vitamins, including vitamin C and A to support immunity. This sauce is great to have in the fridge for adding quick delicious flavours to weeknight dinners.
Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegetarian
1 bunch organic parsley, roughly chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
¾ cup Flannerys Own Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 tsp red wine vinegar
Juice of ½ lemon
1 tbsp red onion, diced finely
½ tsp oregano, fresh or fried
¼ tsp chili flakes
Flannerys Own Himalayan sea salt
1. Blitz all ingredients in a food processor until a sauce consistency.
2. Taste and add more sea salt, chili flakes or oregano as needed.
3. Use half the chimichurri to marinade steaks, chicken, fish or roast vegetables and the other half for the table. Enjoy!
