Bircher Muesli

Bircher muesli is rich in flavour from apple, coconut, cinnamon, honey and dried fruit. Being soaked in almond milk gives a delicious creamy flavour, plus adds more protein and vitamins to an already nutrient-rich breakfast! Oats contain beta glucans which are good for cholesterol plus they’re high in fibre to keep you full.

Vegan (using maple syrup), vegetarian, GMO free

Ingredients

2 cups Flannerys Own organic rolled oats

1/2 cup Flannerys Own shredded coconut

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 cup goji berries

1/4 cup dried cranberries

1/4 cup sultanas

2 organic red apples, chopped

2 tbsp Flannerys Own raw honey (use maple syrup for a vegan alternative)

2 1/2 cups almond milk

Method

  • 1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours to soak.

  • 2. Serve with your favourite yoghurt and raw nuts.
